Shawn Lei writes:

A ethicist has said that if you want to change your world, change yourself first.

How do you change yourself?

By changing ANI.

ANI is a hebrew word that comes from the word "nothingness".

You are nothing without G-d. Because he is the only true everlasting energy source of creation.

So change the world, by changing yourself.

And change yourself by changing nothing, first. Accept what you are, a mere creation of a creator you cannot comprehend. Understand your place as a creation.

Accept that this world has everything as is the will of G-d, including you.

Everything that exists has a reason. Accept yourself first.

Only after this initial process of self "bittul"/nothingness, which connects us to g-d, can we start to approach our mission y g-d to add in the study of the torah, prayer and acts of goodness and kindness for the ultimate and complete redemption via messiah.

Rabbi Yosef edery adds:

On one hand we are something from nothing.

Because our world is considered something compared to the spiritual nothingness we arrived from.

This is all in the terminology of the physical being "something" as it is in our eyes.

however from G-d's perspective we are nothing from something.

For G-d is the true being, and we are nothing in reality.

we are just a temporary shot of power and energy which is always reliant on G-d.

Therefore in essence, we are nothing.

So, on one hand, we are something from nothing and on the other we are nothing from something.

Both these paradigms are vital for us to create a "dwelling place for the lord here in this world".

We can all work together to achieve, please help us in our united effort to unite the world in their efforts to take responsibility, add in goodness and kindness, and reach every corner of the world to light it up with the warmth and comfort of Judaism and the messege of redemption.
