Which one of these do you think is the likely Messiah?

Don't believe in the False Messiahs!

There were, and are many false messiahs.

The false messiah of the enlightenment The false Messiah of Communism.

The false messiah of Zionism which sought to replace the Torah and Judaism with "Nationalism", went so far as to call the state of Israel the beginning of Redemption.

The false messiah of Technology, which far too many people believe has the answer to all life's issues.

You're worried? There's an app for that. Need meaning in life? There's an app for that. Want happiness?

There's an app for that. Ad infinitum.... Sooner than later, all these "Messiahs" are exposed to be nothing more then a false utopia, distracting so many lives from living a real wholesome G-d centered life.

All the above mentioned have something in common:

they made great promises, giving hope for humanity, only soon to be debunked as fake propaganda or unrealistic solutions, sold to the yearning humans, awaiting real change and peace.

This is what many a Baal Teshuva realise, that the truth is found in ourselves and in G-d.

Only a life fully in accordance with the Torah is the recipe for the best life. For a real, wholesome, peaceful, happy life. Those that thought by watering down the Torah, by making it more "modern" by making the Torah more "acceptable" and by compromising, saying Judaism has to fit with the times have all failed miserably or are on the road to extinction. Just read the surveys about Judaism in America, read what the reform and conservatives are saying, and take your lesson.

"The last one(s) standing" will be those that stick firmly, uncompromisingly to the ways of our Torah, without budging an inch from the words of the Rebbe. All the rest fall away, sooner or later....
