Internal Martial Arts and its Similarities to Jewish Kabbalah

Did you know? that the idea of separation "Kadosh" is one of the core concepts in Tai Chi.

"Separation of duality" is an essential principle in esoteric internal martial arts. Both Judaism and internal martial arts seeks to bring the dualities together, between heaven and earth, G-d and Man, male and female...

Tai chi has a system that maps out the body in a way that isn't uncannily similar to the kabbalistic Tree of Life. With the top representing the "crown" or "kether," followed by "splitting of yin and yang" just like the splitting of light and darkness, chokmah and binah (2 Levels of Wisdom). The body is indeed like a nation, and as a nation uses currency to circulate its energy, the body circulates it said own energy through intention, and blood.

The Torah teaches us that life is in the blood, well, in the world of martial arts, blood is indeed the vital force. Speaking of the force, and spirit, the Hebrew word "Ruach" means "wind," which is very similar to the idea of "qi" which Is energized by the breath. Someone once said that one stores energy in the dantian like a bank, and one needs to use it, one makes a withdrawal...

In the book of Bereishit/Genesis it says that G-d breathed His spirit into thy nostrils of Adam, maybe Adam was being taught internal martial arts without knowing it! This shows that the truth is out there if one looks for it. Imagine Tai Chi being one of the many martial arts being incorporated into Israeli Krav, it would be a truly Kadosh martial arts.

The philosophical origin of tai chi even prophesied a moshiach's figure who would bring heaven and earth together, and according to one source, during the 613th year of the Zhou Dynasty, when some Jews came to China, the Chinese lauded Judaism as something that uncovered the mysteries of the "unspeakable Dao," an incredibly similar concept to HaShem, so Kadosh and special it cannot be spoken.

Truly situated between the eastern and western culture, Israel is the stabilizing force for the faithful west and the wise east, or doesn't even need to be religious to recognize that.
